I adapt to Michigan because I was going to a bad school St. Louis and when I came up here I went to a better school and I like it and I live in a bad part of St. Louis and I was so happy to get away from that but I still miss my friends and family and I had to adapt to make new friend and they is better but I still miss my old friends and teacher. People adapt to new places are when somebody comes from another country like Canada and moves to Michigan they would have to adapt to the weather and other things that people have to adapt when they come to Michigan like in the book one crazy summer when Delphine moved to Oakland for the summer so some of the things that Delphine and her sisters had to adapt to at Cecile’s house was that Cecile doesn’t make dinner she doesn’t let them in her kitchen because she doesn’t want them to mess up her work and she tells them to not come back home until sundown but in Brooklyn big ma and pa make dinner they do let them in the kitchen and they don’t tell Delphine and her sisters to stay outside until sundown.

The ways I had to adapt living here are I had to adapt to cold weather also living in small houses and another thing is living so close to people.
