January 8th: Expectations of Their Mom
What does Delphine, Vonetta, and Fern expect from Cecile?
I think the girls expected that Cecile would give them their money back and she would give them food and she would treat them like her daughter’s.That’s what I think the girls expect from Cecile. By: Arely Sosa Rios Stocking Elementary
The girls expect their mom Cecile to be mean, selfish, uncaring, unloving mom that lives on the streets and sleeps on a bench next to a crazy drunk guy with bird poop stained on the bench. But she really has a house and she is still a selfish uncaring mom. The girls are expecting there mom to give them their money back that there dad gave them to go to Disney world. The girls expected there mom to give them their money back but instead she gave them ten dollars of their money to go get something to eat from Ming’s. Thomas Rockett Stocking Elementary 5th Grade

I think the girls expect that Cecile was going to act like a normal mother , would take responsibility for her children, feed them properly and care for them. But, now that they met Cecile they know that their mother doesn't really care for them and that she a selfish jerk that doesn't care about anybody but herself. She’s the worst mom EVER! The girls expected their mother to be like “oh my kids are here and I finally get to see them.” Instead, she was hiding in the shadows at the airport and don’t want to pick them up.
