January 20th - All About Names
Names play an important role in the story. How does Cecile feel about names?
Cicile feels strongly about name because in page 77 she says and I quote “If I change why would I would I keep my old name”. I can see where she is going because she I would do the same. I think Cecile feels strong about names. She seems to know a lot about them she said her name Nzilla means the path in Yoruba language. It also serves as a code name for the black panthers. By: Ian Miller from Stocking Elementary 5th grade
I think Cecile does not like old warn out names. Maybe she feels grossed out by old names. I think she likes new fresh strait out of the box names like brand new names. I think maybe she likes brand new names because there not used names. By: Thomas Rockett from stoking elementary 5th grade.
